Central Heating Power Flush

Central Heating Power Flush

Bath Guaranteed Central Heating Power Flush

Symptoms and Solutions

Symptoms that say “Your central heating system probably needs a powerflush”…

1.Cold spots on radiators
2.Boiler or pump noise or failure
3.Sludge or rust in the system
4.Poor or non-existent hot water
5.Most other things caused by poor circulation.
6.System is slow to heat up.

How To Get Rid Of Them

The ‘Powerflushing’ pumping unit I use moves a high volume of water at a safe low pressure, with selected chemicals at low pressure around your heating (and hot water) system. The pump is connected to either your heating system circulation pump valves, to the pump head within your combination boiler or on rare occasion to the pipework to one of your radiators.

The pumping unit’s powerful flow, combined with a carefully chosen cleaning chemical/s dislodges and mobilises deposits and corrosion which resist the traditional ‘cold-hose’ flushing method.

The beauty of it is that I do not need to remove any of your central heating radiators. No chance of spilling any of that dirty muck on your nice clean carpets…it’s a bugger to clean off!

My lovely power flushing pump also has an instant flow-reversal switch to free-up any jagged bits of rust that catch on cut ends of pipe, pump valves or radiator washers. The same bits that cause pump failures, cold radiators and noisy central heating boilers.

Always allow a whole day for a power flush

If you’ve already decided that I’m in with a good chance of getting your business and are about to pick up the phone to call me for more information then you might want to know that I usually aim to arrive between 8 and 8.30

The average powerflushing  job takes 6 hours from arrival to departure. Very occasionally it takes a bit less, although in one case I didn’t leave a customers house until 8pm. However long it takes I don’t leave until it’s fixed and charge no more and no less than the fixed price I always quote for a power flush.

You might even qualify for a grant

If you own your own home or rent it from a private landlord, you may be eligible for a grant of up to £300 for powerflushing under the Warm Front Scheme.
